I posted this on my Facebook last week but never got a chance to blog about it. And since today is Thursday and it's a throwback there is no better time than the present.
I have this thing about wearing the same thing twice other than jeans. I rarely do it....especially with something as unique as this skirt I made last summer. She is a beauty and I couldn't resist and just had to put her back on.
...and the breeze caught me at the perfect time.
This gathered maxi skirt is self drafted and fabric was from Jo-Ann Fabric. I tried to look for the same fabric and link it for you but it looks like they no longer have it in stock. It is a silk fabric.
I have made so many of these skirts for myself and for clients. I love them in knee length, midi, and full length. I love how the waistband creates a flattering waistline. This is a look that works for most body shapes.
